How to get the most from your next facial.

1. Clear some time

Of course, this is not always possible! However, if you can, try not to rush to your treatment so that you can minimise the amount of time it takes to ‘come down’ from daily life. & If you can, try not to make any grand plans after and give yourself space to let your body dwell in the restfulness after.

(That’s why I love weekend treatments!)

2. Come with unwashed hair

As someone with a lot of hair, I totally get that hair wash days can often dictate the week! However, all those lovely facial muscles work up high over the forehead and into the hairline. We also have lots of lovely nerve endings around the head, it's a shame to miss out on the head massage!

(Of course I can secure a headband over the hair if you have somewhere to be after!).

3. There’s no such thing as “too much info”!

The more I know about your skin and lifestyle, the more I can get a better idea of what’s going on with your skin internally. I can then better put together a detailed plan support you. I love it when clients come with photo's of their skin / skin care / feel they can share in lots of detail!

If you’re struggling with your skin, I’d always recommend us doing a more in-depth consultation on our first meeting.

4. Tune in to what you need

Got some tension somewhere? Want to focus on something specific? In a chatty mood? Actually want no chat at all? Music off? Want some extra layers? Tell me! This is all about you.

The reason that I only have one treatment on the menu (The Holistic Facial) is so that we can tune into what it is that you need that day and I can tailor the treatment to you. Each will be slightly different!

5. Never apologise for…

Not talking, falling asleep, snoring, belly rumbles, asking me to adjust the pressure, feet twitches, talking a lot, asking questions, being curious, 'oversharing' or crying!

All are totally, totally welcome :-)
